Lord,   let the fire from heaven above,  

purify  my soul

You’re the refiner, just waiting to see

Your own image in the gold

Come purify, sanctify,

Cleanse me and make me whole

For who shall endure, the day you appear

Only those refined as the gold

 

May your holy word be my counselor,

your perfect will my desire

Let your loving hands be the crucible,

refine me in the flames, of your holy fire
